The terms of this sale are as follows:
1. The buyer accepts the responsibility of caring for this kitten and providing properly
for its welfare. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder's instructions on housing, diet,
and health care.
2. The buyer agrees never to allow this kitten outdoors unless leashed and/or
accompanied by a responsible person to supervise, for it's health and safety.
3. With pet kittens, the buyer must agree to alter this cat prior to the age of six months.
4. * The Seller guarantees that this cat is capable of reproducing, and if, after two
breedings, no kittens are produced which live for at least 60 days, breeder will
replace this cat with one of the breeder's choice and of equal value. All medical
costs associated with these breedings will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
*Applicable ONLY to breeder/show quality cats.
5. The breeder reserves the right of first refusal to repurchase this kitten from the buyer at the sales price recited below if the buyer, for any reason, cannot keep the kitten/cat.
6. The breeder guarantees that the breeder's cattery is FeLV and FIV free. All cats
are tested yearly and breeders are scanned for PKD with only negative cats used for breeding. Breeder also guarantees that this kitten is presently free of internal and external parasites and all infectious disease or life-threatening congenital defects. Further, this kitten has been vaccinated against Panleupopenia, Rhinotichaeitis, and Calici virus. Purchaser should have his/her own veterinarian inspect said cat within seven (7) working days of purchase, and if any sign of illness is found, purchaser must contact breeder immediately and may either:
a. Return cat to breeder for full refund;
b. Return cat to breeder for replacement if available; or
c. Take cat to breeder's choice of veterinarian for a second opinion, in which case breeder will pay all reasonable costs.
If a veterinarian other than breeder's choice institutes any treatment or administers
any further vaccinations, this guarantee is null and void.
7. The buyer agrees that this kitten will never be sold, leased or given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory or similar facility.
8. The buyer agrees that if any of the above terms are disregarded, the breeder may reclaim this kitten without a refund of the purchase price.
9. Upon payment of balance due, seller will transfer ownership to buyer, retaining the rights recited in item #5 above.
